Berkley Design Professional recently released a new exclusive service for appointed agencies and their staff—our own Online Broker Academy!
Our Online Broker Academy was created to help answer the many questions our underwriters and risk management staff answer every day regarding Berkley Design Professional’s products, services and resources. The Academy is another avenue for Berkley Design Professional brokers get the latest updates to help them provide outstanding service to their clients.
Brokers can explore a variety of short videos and at-a-glance content on the easy-to-access platform to get the information they need, when they need it and get back to the business of serving their clients.
Our underwriters have created videos featuring the following topics:

- BDP Risk Early Access Program

Brokers can also access videos about Claims, Risk Management, Marketing Resources and the BDP Risk learning portal for policyholders.

About the Author
Candelario Lopez is a Senior Learning Management Specialist at Berkley Design Professional, a Berkley Company. In addition to managing the BDP Risk® Learning Management System (LMS) and providing risk management education consultations with policyholders to ensure they get the most out of the BDP Risk® LMS, Candelario leads the team responsible for developing and implementing the Online Broker Academy. He joined Berkley Design Professional in 2022.
For the prior 10 years, Candelario managed training and development for medical device companies. He is an experienced Instructional Designer with 15 years of training and content development experience in government, medical device, healthcare and finance industries. Candelario earned a Master’s degree in education from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from California State University Monterey Bay in Seaside, California.
